Google Fire Eater

Google announced yesterday their new, first google-branded 7″ tablet to competed with the Amazon Kindle Fire at $199. It’s a little bit better hardware than the Fire and built by ASUS, but sold as a Google tablet. It’ll emphasize Google’s Play store for media consumption – reading, movie watching, etc.

The company isn’t expected to make money selling this tablet, but hopes to grab market share they’ve been steadily losing to the great price point of the Fire. I guess we’ll just have to see how they do at this. For more info, read: http://www.crn.com/news/mobility/240002844/google-unveils-nexus-7-tablet-new-android-jelly-bean-os.htm

Meanwhile, I wanted to post this from my iPad yesterday, but I ended up spending a couple of hours trying to get my WordPress IOS App to sync with my blog.  No success. Others that share my problem seem to have concluded that the last few updates to the app broke it. Sigh.
